The DCNR grant has been
approved. The money is to be used toward a feasibility study and then
a report on the various aspects of creating a multi-county/regional
interconnected snowmobile and outdoor recreation trail system.

A new snowmobile parking lot has been built on the Hoagland Branch Road, (near Dry Run Road) and a joint use road agreement has been worked out with Fox Township, allowing access into the Loyalsock Forest from this parking lot. A big thank you goes out to both Fox Township and Bureau of Forestry for this well needed access upgrade.

The snowmobile trailer parking
area at Cabbage Hollow access area was recently expanded, doubling its size.
-
A new snowmobile parking area
has been added on the Dunwoody Road at the end of the Miller Trail.
